1. Select “Chart of Accounts” under the Accounting tab on the main navigation
2. Click “Add New”
3. Enter an account number. Field may contain numbers and letters. For more information on account numbers, please see the article “What is the chart of accounts?”
4. Select an account type. Account types include: Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Revenue, or Expenses. For more information on account types, please see the article “What are the account types?”
5. Enter an account description.
6. Click “Save”
