My default company is a simple way for you to select which company you want to sign into when you log in. This helps place you into the correct business and minimize the chance to post entries to the wrong company.
You can find your default company located at the top of the company drop down menu, under the section "My Default Company" with a star on the right side of the company name.
To change your default company, hover over the company name that you wish to change the default company to.
You will notice an outlined star on the right side of the company name.
Select that star. You will then be prompted with an alert to continue with updating your default company.
Select update default business and you are done. You will now notice your new default company is listed at the top of the company dropdown menu with a black star on the right side of the company name.
Note: If you only have one company, that company will be set at your default company. If you have multiple companies, whichever company was created first will be set as your default company until you make a change. You will always have a default company and this is something that can not be removed.
